This hotel is completely underrated. The staff were extremely helpful and breakfast was really fulfilling. On arrival they had our Room ready early and had a map of the city laid out for us. They showed us how to navigate around the city and how to enter/see the different sites. They had a few restaurant recommendations for us which helped loads as we were told by friends that we should avoid restaurants near tourist locations. If you want to visit the Vatican this location is ideal as it's only 10minute walk to either the Vatican museum or st peters square. Ottovian is the closest metro stop which is 3/5minutes walk away. (Although this station is closed for upgrade works) Me and my mum who is elderly used the scooters to get around the city as you can end up doing alot of walking. I would 100% book here again nothing but good memories.

The location of the hotel is excellent. A few hundred meters from the Vatican. Excellent pizzerias nearby. The staff is very nice. It is possible to ask for transfer, the hotel 's own driver took us from the airport to the hotel. He was very polite and he helped us with our luggage. The breakfast room is a quite small, we were advised of this beforehand and had the option to choose what time we wanted to have breakfast, so this was also done smoothly. No one should expect a buffet. The staff brought breakfast to the table separately, which at first was quite little, but luckily you could ask for what you ran out of and it was brought without a problem. After check-out it was possible to leave the suitcases at the hotel and they did not charge anything.

The room was clean with all the promised facilities and extras. The location is great, in a quiet part of the city, 2 minutes away from the entrance to the Vatican and a metro station, with lots of good value-for-money restaurants. The window to the inner courtyard is a bit small but that is to be expected for the older buildings in Rome. The staff was very friendly and helped us with a map of the city and recommendations for the best sights. They also offer restaurant recommendations and a skip the line service for most of the famous tourist attractions. The breakfast was delicious and more than enough to get you through a whole day of walking around Rome.

Fulvia (receptionist) was amazing, very helpful and good at problem solving. The room we had was very clean and was done every day. Its a cute hotel (extention of the building), but a bit small (butique). They give also a map of Rome and highlight some routes to go. Generally receptionists nice, but Fulvia always went extra mile - that's a keeper! Great location, 3 min walk to Vatican museum, 5 min to metro. In general, from there you can walk to all over city, longest distance to Colosseum probably 45 min walk. Several smaller supermarkets also close by (best we found was Pam) and shopping and food places.

We arrived shortly after departing from our cruise ship. We were very fortunate that our rooms were clean and ready for all 5 couples. We were exhausted from the cruise so to get a bite to eat and to come back to take a quick nap was exactly what we needed. Rooms were great, staff was incredibly helpful and a great 5 star hotel. It was immaculant in every way. We will definitely stay there again in we get an opportunity to come back. AND 5 star breakfast was fantastic! We Loved Hotel Vespasiano!! High class hotel!
